How the Marstek Venus A works
1) Direct PV connection (DC via 4 MPPT)
Connect PV strings directly to the MPPT inputs (MC4). With four independent MPPT channels, the system can handle different string lengths, tilts or orientations more efficiently. The Venus A charges from solar and then supplies energy to your home when you need it.
2) AC-coupled add-on for existing PV systems
Already running solar with a (micro)inverter or string inverter? The Venus A can be used as AC-coupled storage. It uses the bidirectional 230 V connection (single phase) to charge and discharge based on household consumption. Combined with a metering solution (smart meter/P1 or energy meter), it can also help limit unwanted feed-in.
Backup power (EPS / off-grid) – what to expect
The Venus A includes a backup output for essential loads such as router/modem, lighting, refrigeration, heating controls or a small workspace.
