With a gross storage capacity of 40.96 kWh and a powerful 3-phase hybrid inverter of 15 kW, this system combines high capacity, high output and professional installation by certified technicians.

    The system is ideal when you have many heavy consumers such as heat pumps, air conditioning systems, charging stations, cooling installations, machines or heavier hospitality and office equipment. During the day you store solar energy, and in the evening and at night you use the stored energy to reduce your grid consumption significantly and flatten peak loads. During a power outage, the installation can function as a backup power system so your essential devices continue to operate.

    What is included in the Felicity 40 kWh + Solis 15 kW package?

    The package contains the full Felicity 40 kWh battery tower built from eight modules of 5.12 kWh (LUX-X 48100LG01), the Solis S6-EH3P15K 3-phase hybrid inverter (15 kW nominal, peak output up to 22.5 kW), 3-phase connection in the distribution board including required protections and cabling, professional installation by NEN1010/NEN3140 certified installers, complete configuration, monitoring setup, commissioning report and on-site explanation. The system includes a 10-year factory warranty on battery modules and inverter (according to manufacturer conditions).

    The Felicity LUX-X battery modules are based on safe LiFePO4 technology with a lifespan of more than 6,000 charge cycles. The Solis 3-phase hybrid inverter is designed for large PV installations and energy storage systems, offering high efficiency, extensive monitoring and backup power capability (EPS) depending on the configuration.

    Technical Specifications – Felicity 40 kWh Tower

    The battery type is LiFePO4 (LFP). The system consists of eight LUX-X 48100LG01 modules of 5.12 kWh each, giving a usable capacity of approximately 36.8 kWh at around 90% depth of discharge. The nominal system capacity is 40.96 kWh. The operating voltage is approximately 384 V in a stacked system of eight 48 V modules with a high-voltage BMS. The maximum charge and discharge current is up to 100 A per module depending on configuration. The lifespan is more than 6,000 cycles with an expected operational life of around 15–20 years. It comes in a compact tower configuration with stacked modules and a central BMS. In many configurations it can be expanded to approximately 50 kWh.

    The Felicity LUX-X series is modular. This means you can add extra modules later (within the limits of the inverter and BMS) when your energy consumption increases or if you install new systems such as additional heat pumps, charging stations or machinery. A major advantage of LiFePO4 is the combination of high safety, stable voltage and long lifespan.

    Technical Specifications – Solis 15 kW 3-Phase Hybrid Inverter

    The Solis S6-EH3P15K is a 3-phase hybrid inverter with a nominal AC output of 15,000 W distributed across three phases. The maximum AC output can reach around 16,500 W depending on configuration. The peak power can reach around 22.5 kW for short-term loads. The inverter supports high DC input, up to approximately 22.5 kW of solar power. The battery voltage range is around 180–500 V DC depending on configuration, and the battery charge/discharge power is high, enabling fast operation within specifications. The efficiency is up to around 97.8%. The inverter supports 3-phase EPS/backup power (depending on configuration and grid operator requirements). It offers extensive monitoring through an app and web portal. It comes with a 10-year factory warranty under Solis conditions.

    The Solis S6 series is specifically designed for modern energy storage systems with large PV arrays. Thanks to the hybrid functionality, the same inverter can control both solar energy and battery storage, intelligently distributing available energy between loads, storage and the grid.

    When is a 40 kWh + 15 kW system interesting?

    This type of system is particularly suitable when your energy demand is significantly higher than that of an average household. Examples include large detached homes, farmhouses, buildings with multiple living units and small to medium-sized businesses. Typical situations include multiple heat pumps, combinations of heat pump, floor heating and air conditioning systems, one or more EV charging points, large cooling and freezing systems, hospitality or production equipment, agricultural ventilation or compressor systems, or offices with constant base loads.

    With 40 kWh of storage you can, depending on consumption, cover a significant part of your daily energy needs for multiple days. In combination with a large solar panel system, a self-sufficiency rate of 80 to 90 percent is realistic in many situations. You become less dependent on the grid, better protected against rising energy prices and you maximise your solar energy consumption.

    3-Phase Installation According to NEN1010 and NEN3140

    A system in this power class requires a professional 3-phase installation. The load is divided across three phases, allowing cables, groups and main fuses to be used more efficiently and keeping peak currents lower. At these power levels, your grid operator almost always requires a 3-phase connection. During installation, our technicians check the existing distribution board, main fuses, grounding system and existing PV installation. Where necessary, components are adjusted or expanded so the complete installation meets guidelines such as NEN1010 and NEN3140.

    Consider correct selectivity and protection, proper cable sizing, grid coupling and external protection according to the grid operator’s requirements, safety provisions for maintenance and faults, and clear labelling and documentation. After commissioning, you receive an explanation of system operation, basic settings and monitoring. This helps you use the battery optimally for self-consumption, peak shaving, backup power or combinations of these functions.

    Is a 3-phase grid connection required for this system?

    Yes. A 15 kW 3-phase inverter requires a 3-phase grid connection. If you do not yet have one, your grid operator can upgrade your connection. We help assess the technical impact and required rating.

    How much can I save with 40 kWh of storage?
