With the Bluetti EP760's dynamic energy contract function, you can benefit from favorable electricity rates by intelligently charging during off-peak hours and discharging during peak hours. This saves money and is ideal for households without solar panels. In addition, the EP760 offers the possibility to store sufficient electricity from the grid during power outages.
Q1: What is the difference between EP760 and EP600?
A: EP760 is a single-phase power system with a maximum output of 7600W (230V), perfect for households with a single-phase system; while EP600 provides a three-phase output of 6000W (400V) and a single-phase output up to 2000W (230V), designed for households with three-phase appliances.
Q2: Is EP760 an off-grid system?
A: EP760 can be installed both on-grid and off-grid depending on your needs.
Q3: What is covered under the 10-year warranty?
A: BLUETTI guarantees that when used correctly as described in the user manual, each battery pack will achieve a minimum total energy consumption of 15.48MWh during the warranty period.
Q4: Does the 10-year warranty policy also apply to the fans and WiFi modules?
A: No. The warranty for the fans and WiFi modules is 24 months.
Q5: What is the noise level of the EP760?
A: Less than 50dB.
Q6: How can I charge the EP760?
A: You can charge it via your solar panels on the roof or the electricity grid at home.
Q7: Can I charge the EP760 simultaneously via solar and grid power?
A: Yes. The EP760 accepts solar and AC charging simultaneously, with a maximum input of 9 kW. Please note that the system will always prioritize solar power.
Q8: Can the EP760 prioritize the use of solar energy?
A: Yes, the EP760 has an intelligent power management system that allows you to adjust charge and discharge times as well as SoC limits via the BLUETTI App to maximize solar power usage and minimize your electricity bill.
Q9: Can I program the EP760 to charge and discharge according to my energy consumption patterns and needs?
A: Yes, you can set a charging and discharging schedule in the BLUETTI App.
Q10: Can the EP760 be used with battery packs other than the B500, such as the B300, B300S or B230?
A: No, the EP760 only works with B500 battery packs.
Q11: I already have a PV system and inverter at home, can I install the EP600?
A: Yes, you can. Please tell us the power and voltage of your existing PV system, as well as the power and voltage of the inverter, and we will provide you with a suitable solution.
Q12: What is the weight capacity of each B500?
A: More than 441 lbs/200kg, which means one EP760 + 4*B500 combination can be stacked vertically, saving you much space.
Q13: Can I install the EP760 unit myself?
A: No, the system must be installed by a licensed electrician. We have a network of authorized installers available to provide professional local installation services for your convenience.
Q14: Are the EP760 and B500 water resistant?
A: Yes, they have an IP65 rating which provides protection against water and dust.
Q15: Is the EP760 hazardous or susceptible to fire?
A: The EP760 is designed with a strong focus on safety and reliability. However, it is crucial to follow specific precautions to ensure long-term performance and safety. Please keep the device away from heat sources such as heaters or open flames, avoid exposure to direct sunlight, and avoid heavy impacts or contact with chemicals. Please note that any accidents resulting from these situations will not be covered by the warranty.
Q16: Does BLUETTI offer product liability insurance for its products?
A: Yes, we have third party product liability insurance worldwide.
Q17: Does EP760 support DC coupling or AC coupling?
A: Yes. However, it is recommended to prioritize DC coupling because it is more efficient and can be used during power outages. The EP760 has three MPPT channels; each handles up to 3,000W solar input via DC coupling and supports a voltage range of 150V-500V and a maximum working current of 12.5A.
Q18: Can I use installed solar panels and inverter together with the EP760?
A: Yes. EP760 will work with existing solar systems via AC coupling in an on-grid installation, but this is not available if installed off-grid and there is a power outage. If your current inverter is old and cannot be repaired, EP760 can replace your failed inverter via DC coupling.
Q19: Is it necessary to ground the EP760 unit?
A: Yes, grounding the EP760 unit is necessary for safety reasons and proper functionality.
Q20: Can I install more than 4 B500 battery packs?
A: No. EP760 currently accepts 2-4 B500 batteries.
